ayment for processing and publishing articles
Diamond Open Access Model
The journal operates under the Diamond Open Access model, which provides free and open access to all published materials for readers worldwide without any subscriptions or access fees.
At the same time, the journal does not charge any fees to authors at any stage of the editorial and publishing process. In particular:
• no manuscript submission fee
• no article fees (Article Processing Charges, APC)
• no publication fee
This policy reflects the journal’s commitment to the free dissemination of scientific knowledge and ensuring equal opportunities for authors regardless of their financial resources.

Sources of funding
All costs associated with the editorial and publishing process are fully covered by the founding institution.

Such funding ensures the sustainability of the journal’s operation while maintaining full editorial independence.

Editorial independence
Sources of funding have no influence on:
• editorial decisions
• review process
• acceptance or rejection of manuscripts
All submitted materials are evaluated solely on the criteria of scientific quality, originality, and relevance to the journal's topic.

Transparency and openness
The journal adheres to the principles of transparency in scientific publishing and supports international open science initiatives.
The introduction of the Diamond Open Access model helps eliminate financial barriers for both authors and readers, and also ensures wider dissemination of scientific results.
The scientific collection "Proceedings of Odessa Polytechnic University" ensures prompt and high-quality processing of manuscripts in compliance with international standards of academic integrity and publication ethics.
After the manuscript is accepted for publication, authors pay an Article Processing Charge (APC). The APC covers only the costs associated with the editorial and publishing process.

What APC includes
checking the manuscript for plagiarism using StrikePlagiarism software;
• formatting the article according to the layout and requirements of the journal;
• preparation and verification of technical metadata (DOI assignment, preparation for indexing, etc.);
• basic publishing costs (DOI registration in Crossref, technical support of the site, hosting).

APC fee
The minimum APC fee is 2.0 euros per page (or the equivalent in hryvnias at the official exchange rate).
The APC fee may be revised periodically by the editorial office. Up-to-date information on payment is always published on the official website of the journal.

APC Waiver Policy
The journal supports young scientists and ensures equal access to the publication of scientific results.
Authors who are third-level higher education applicants (Doctors of Philosophy) who are studying at the state budget are completely exempt from any payment related to the processing, review and publication of articles, provided that:
• the article is prepared solely by the applicant;
• the manuscript is submitted without co-authors;
• the research is carried out as part of the applicant's dissertation work.

The exemption from payment applies to all stages of editorial processing, including manuscript review, review and final publication.

Publication policy on payments
No payment is charged for articles rejected based on the results of the review.
• No additional or hidden payments above the APC are provided.
• Printed copies of the journal can be ordered separately at the request of the authors.
